Niro Pharmaceutical Test Station

The Niro Pharmaceutical Test Station is located in Columbia, Maryland, conveniently located between Baltimore and Washington, DC, only fifteen minutes from Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI). The Test Station's purpose is to assist our Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Industry customers with feasibility testing of their products on our equipment, and to be a partner with them in the process development as they move forward from the Research and Development stages to clinical production, and eventually into full-scale Manufacturing.

The station combines decades of design and development know-how in the pharmaceutical industry with the very latest in processing equipment to provide you with a unique opportunity for development, clinical supplies, and small-scale manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.

By offering the latest advances in solid-dosage processing, our imaginative engineering approach and never-ending stream of innovation has made it possible for us to offer you a facility like no other. The building itself represents the latest developments in pharmaceutical plant design utilizing the "through-the-wall" concept. This design minimizes the clean processing area and allows for technical service of the equipment to be done outside the clean area.
