As part of the GEA Group we have access to some of the world's leading-edge processing equipment from within the organization and a wealth of experience on which to call. More importantly, we understand fundamentally the processes involved in liquid processing, the capabilities of the equipment employed and the engineering that is required to ensure that they operate at optimum capacity and lowest maintenance but with the flexibility required to suit the customers' needs. It's this experience and knowledge that allows us to add value to any project large or small.

Our main strength is the ability to listen carefully to our customers and work with them to build efficient processing plants that meet both current and future needs. We can also supply individual pieces of equipment, provide spare parts, service and maintenance for hygienic processing plants.

GEA Liquid Processing provides a complete range of equipment for integration into any plant. The company also has exclusive partnerships in place with numerous sub-suppliers allowing the customer to select their preferred equipment for a plant engineered exactly to their needs. GEA Liquid Processing integrates the unit operations from the different GEA companies and to serve as a project management groups of large turnkey projects.

Our process automation department uses commercially available PLCs, computers and system software. This strategy allows our customers to establish an open standard for the entire plant. Standardization reduces after sales services and spare parts stock.

Due to the internal structure of GEA Process Engineering Inc. and the prevailing industry standard it has been decided that three separate groups are necessary in the US to best handle dissimilar industry needs and requirements. Therefore, GEA Liquid Processing Inc. has sub-divided GEA Liquid Processing into three separate business groups:

• GEA Liquid Processing - Hudson, WI: Will handle all food, dairy, and beverage activities and projects conforming to 3A, USDA, and EHEDG
• Huppmann Brewery Systems - Hudson, WI: Will handle brewery equipment and brewery process technology - in compliance to the relevant codes and standards
• GEA Liquid Processing - Columbia, MD: Will handle all pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetic, and personal care applications or in other words - projects adhering to cGMP, GAMP, CFR 21 Part 11, ISA S-88, PAT, and other FDA regulatory requirements
